Biography

Lisa, in full

Nashville session vocalist Lisa Carrie has lent her voice to legends — standing shoulder to shoulder in the studio with Mickey Gilley, Eddy Arnold, Wayne Newton, and Charlie Louvin. She’s the kind of singer producers call when the track needs warmth, soul, and absolute reliability: a first-call background vocalist in Music City, who’s also sung for Disney.

Her lead-artist debut, “In Another Life” (2001), put her own name front and center. Produced by Andrew Gold — who played every instrument on the record — the single showcases the rich, seasoned delivery that made her a studio secret weapon. It’s a voice that wraps around a lyric like it’s always belonged there.

On stage, Carrie’s shared the spotlight with Nashville’s finest — performing live alongside Gary Janney (Grammy backup vocalist for Adele) and David Huntsinger, singing music by Janet McMahan and Huntsinger, and gracing the stage of the Grand Ole Opry. From studio sessions with country royalty to live performances with Music City’s top players, she’s earned her place among Nashville’s most trusted voices.
